Disclosures
Privacy policy, disclosures, and your rights.
Feces.com is a static educational website. We do not ask visitors to create accounts, enter symptoms, or submit health information.
Medical disclaimer
Use this site as a starting point for better questions, not as a substitute for a clinician. If you have severe symptoms, symptoms that are worsening, blood in stool, black tarry stool, dehydration, fainting, confusion, severe pain, or a persistent unexplained change, seek medical care.
What we collect
This site does not run browser-side analytics, ad pixels, comments, forms, accounts, or user symptom tracking. The web server may keep ordinary technical logs such as IP address, browser, requested URL, referrer, and time of visit for security, debugging, operations, abuse prevention, and first-party aggregate traffic reporting.
Cookies and tracking
Feces.com does not currently set non-essential cookies or place visitor-tracking scripts in the browser. First-party analytics are generated from server logs, with IP addresses anonymized in the private report. If advertising, affiliate tracking, consent tools, embedded third-party content, or browser-side analytics are added later, the cookie policy should be updated before those tools go live.
Advertising and affiliate disclosure
Feces.com may display ads, sponsored placements, or affiliate links in the future. Paid placements must be labeled, and sponsored links may use rel="sponsored". Payment does not change medical warning signs, source links, or editorial guidance.
GDPR and UK GDPR rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or export personal data. Because this site currently collects only limited technical logs and the private analytics report is aggregate/anonymized, most requests will relate to server-log records if they can be reasonably identified.
California privacy rights
California residents may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing of personal information. Feces.com does not currently sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If advertising technology changes that, this policy and the cookie policy should be updated first.
Children
This site is general educational content and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
